The Muby Charitable Trust (MCT) was founded in 2023, born from the heartfelt vision of Sagarika Panda — a Advocate by profession and a passionate crochet artist for the past 10 years. What started as a hobby slowly grew into something much bigger. As she witnessed the rising demand for crochet products in India and abroad, she saw a powerful opportunity — to transform this art into a means of empowering women.

With compassion and care, Sagarika began teaching underprivileged women the skills of crochet in simple, hands-on ways. Her dream is to build a strong, supportive community of women artisans who not only master the craft but also find financial independence and self-worth through it. Despite facing many personal challenges, she continues to pour her time, knowledge, and energy into uplifting others.

Her vision doesn’t stop there — she also dreams of supporting bright children from poor backgrounds, helping them pursue higher education. Through MCT, she is connecting the missing dots in the mission of empowerment — creating a bridge of hope, dignity, and opportunity for those who need it most.

A proud Indian Navy veteran with 20 years of service, has dedicated his life to serving others. Coming from a small town and witnessing the struggles of rural India, he found purpose in empowering people. Through the Trust, he works tirelessly to create opportunities for learning, earning, and growth — especially for those often overlooked.

With 23 years of corporate experience across India, With vision is to support women, children, and specially-abled individuals with hidden potential. Through simple skill training in arts and crafts, Creating a Channel to help them earn, grow, and gain confidence. Everyone deserves a chance to be seen, supported, and valued for their unique talents and creativity.
